Children's Dentistry

Exams, cleanings, fluoride, and sealants for kids, at a pace set by the child. The whole point of the first few visits is that they are boring.

We count teeth, we show them the mirror, we let them hold the suction. If a child is not ready for something on a given day, we do not force it, and the next visit goes better for it.

Parents stay in the room. Always, at any age.

What patients notice

  • Sealants and fluoride where they actually prevent decay
  • Early bite and spacing check while it is still cheap to fix
  • Appointments scheduled around school hours
  • No treatment starts without a parent's yes

Questions

When should my child first come in?+

By their first birthday, or when the first tooth appears. The first visits are about getting comfortable, not about doing anything.
