Porcelain Veneers
Thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth, designed to your face rather than to a template. Shape, color, and length, all decided before anything is prepared.
We start with a design session, not a drill. You see the proposed shape before we commit, either digitally or as a trial smile you can wear and look at in your own mirror.
Porcelain is prepared conservatively. How much enamel comes off is a real decision with real consequences, and we would rather talk you into fewer veneers than more.
What patients notice
- ✦Color, shape, and length designed with you
- ✦Porcelain resists staining better than bonding
- ✦Corrects chips, gaps, and worn edges at once
- ✦Trial smile before anything is permanent
Questions
Do I have to do all my front teeth?+
No. We veneer what needs it and match the rest. A common plan is the upper six or eight, but two is a perfectly normal answer.
Will they look fake?+
Only if they are designed that way. We build in the small irregularities and translucency of real enamel, and you approve the design before the porcelain is made.
Safety & what to expect
Veneers are irreversible: enamel is removed and the tooth will always need a covering afterwards. We say this out loud at the design visit, every time, because plenty of people are better served by whitening and bonding.
