You get seen, you get told what is wrong and what it costs, and we do whatever settles it that day. Definitive treatment can wait for an appointment; getting you out of pain does not.
If it is a knocked-out adult tooth, put it in milk and call now. That one is genuinely time-critical.

What counts as an emergency?+
Pain that keeps you awake, facial swelling, bleeding that will not stop, a knocked-out or badly broken tooth, or a lost crown on a front tooth. Facial swelling that reaches the eye or the throat is a hospital visit, not a dental one.
